Intimate photography is an art form unlike any other. It is sensitive yet aggressive and brings forth the beauty of the body and the sensual soul within all of us.
A Bit of Magic
Besides mastering the usual complexities of photography such as light, contrast, composition, perspective, balance and creativity, Second Life photography takes on the added burden of extensive post-shoot processing.
Because avatars are digitally made from many, many polygons, they tend to have angular features in places we don't expect. This "angularity" poses a problem for people with traditional aesthetics about photography. Sometimes, entire objects such as arms pass through objects that would be physically impossible in the real world.
Using a variety of Photoshop techniques, rHOnDO Hunghi corrects for these problems where possible. The before-and-after photos at below, while not a complete catalog of all the changes, serves as an example of some of the major obstacles in SL photography.
